Developers at Blizzard have summarized the results of World of Warcraft: Forever’s first week of beta testing in the form of a video podcast, discussing the community’s reaction to key innovations.
One of the main topics of discussion was the new model of the druid form: players pointed out that the high details and bright colors looked too technically advanced for classic Azeroth, and the authors promised to listen to this criticism. Internal analysis also shows that the upgrade speed from level 1 to level 20 has dropped slightly compared to the original classic version, and in the coming patches, the developers intend to adjust the balance of rewards and reduce the number of rare blue items issued in missions.
In addition, the studio is monitoring technical issues, including server layering errors. Rule violators and creators with inappropriate names are quickly excluded from testing, and players are invited to share their detailed opinions on the project via a special form in the launcher.
