Epic Games has taken to social media to confirm previous rumors that the long-running Fortnite game will be connected to Five Nights at Freddy’s. The specific start date now is October 1, 2026, which also coincides with the start of Fortress Heroes – just in time for Halloween.

Epic Games itself has yet to officially confirm a dedicated game mode surrounding the famous series. At least it’s now clear that the long-rumored crossover is actually coming — just in time for Halloween. If further speculation about this year’s Halloween event is confirmed, Chucky may also be teaming up, with WWE Superstar Danhausen potentially appearing in Fortress Heroes.
