“Genshin Impact” officially announces the appearance of Valery and Medea

HoYoverse introduces two new Snezhnaya characters – Mitya and Valeria, who will appear in patch 7.2 Genshin Impact. The official publication of the developers is dedicated to understanding the characters and their relationship with Snezhnaya.

Mitya is a five-star cybernetic character who uses Catalyst. He is the main damage dealer and specializes in star guide reactions. His abilities allow him to create and interact with special objects, and his elemental mastery plays an important role in dealing damage. Judging from the material provided, the hero’s main focus is on active play on the field and the constant use of enhanced attacks.

Valery is a four-star Electro character who possesses a one-handed sword. His primary role is to support and shield players: his elemental skills create a protective shield, and the heroic abilities allow him to increase the damage of allies, especially characters using Electro and Star Guide. Therefore, Valery is considered one of the most suitable partners for Mitya.

Both heroes are tied to the Star Guide mechanic, so their addition should expand squad building options around new reactions. However, if we are talking about closed test material, the detailed numerical parameters of the skills may differ from the current version.
