“Game Informer”, one of the largest gaming publications, had the opportunity to have an exclusive exchange with Rockstar on the topic of “Grand Theft Auto VI” and accordingly published a large 14-page article in the magazine. The text repeats much of what the developers themselves or journalists have said about the game before, but there are some interesting takes that reveal the most anticipated game of the year for the first time, or provide additional details.

Some of Game Infrormer’s most interesting points about Grand Theft Auto VI:

  • The GTA 6 map will be the largest map in Rockstar history, approximately twice the size of the GTA 5 world. It will be divided into 6 main areas: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park.
  • The weather in the game will become more localized and dynamic than in previous installments. The developers say it will be rainy and sunny at the same time in different areas of the map, as well as tropical storms, hurricanes, dynamic clouds, an updated wind system and rainbows with appropriate lighting.
  • There are more than 170 species of animals in the world, including more than 60 species of birds and 30 species of land mammals. These include manatees, flamingos, pelicans, alligators, wild cats and armadillos.
  • GTA 6 will return to the classic six-star police wanted system, but will also feature a new heat system. Servants of the law will be able to obtain information about the character’s appearance and location during the crime, so they may need to change their appearance in order to evade prosecution.
  • Animals will receive more detailed visual models. Rockstar used iridescence, bioluminescence, translucency, different types of feathers and fully simulated fur to make them as realistic as possible.

Rockstar has also confirmed a number of other types of activities as part of the Game Informer material:

  • Skydive from high places.
  • billiards.
  • Gym.
  • canoe.
  • Mini golf.
  • scuba diving.
  • Street and off-road racing.
  • zoo.
  • seaplane.
  • Motorboat.

Gmae Informer has also released several new screenshots of Grand Theft Auto VI.

Let us remind you that Grand Theft Auto VI will release on November 19th exclusively on Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5.
