Insiders at Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead levels are currently testing a total of more than 10 new features on Xbox Series X consoles | S and Xbox One. Some of these are expected to be available in firmware releases in the coming days.
S Update 2610.260924-2200 On September 28th, Alpha Skip-Ahead insiders received another new option that should make customizing the console interface even more convenient. In one of this year’s spring updates, Microsoft is letting players set their own custom interface colors, whereas previously they could only choose from the available color options. However, when you switch to one of the standard color schemes, the selected custom settings will be reset. Things have changed now.
The firmware update notes for Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One state that players can now quickly return to their custom color settings:
When you change colors in Settings, your last custom color will be saved in the Custom Colors option after switching to the built-in colors.
This small update should make the interface easier to customize and allow players who want to try new colors to experiment without losing their settings.
