Valve developers roll out biggest update yet The city that never sleeps for its competitive action game Deadlock. The patch radically changes the usual gameplay and offers many innovations to the participants of the closed beta.
The main event was the announcement of six new characters: Nurse Harrow, Danny the Dead, Bubba, Solomon, the Rat King and Violet. Their appearance in the match will be affected by a pre-match regular player vote, with the winner’s selection points doubled. The first batch of heroes will be launched on October 2nd. Additionally, the map has been significantly revised: New York’s streets have been divided into four themed areas, with new divisions and unique opponents for each line.
Among the new gameplay features, Temporary Broker Trader stands out, allowing you to trade weapons for improved “damaged” opponents, as well as destructible boxes, steam vents for stealth movement, and a host of user interface improvements.
The update immediately brought the number of online players to a peak of 228,000.
