Wardogs received a minor update for 0.1.2, the main goal of which is to close bugs in order to gain money and experience quickly. The developer has also fixed a critical Windows 11 crash issue and warned players that previous leniency for violators has ended.
Revive’s action checks are now fully server-controlled, making it more difficult to use the mechanic to gain rewards on the map. The developers have also closed the fly-through bug, limited its rewards, and changed the payout calculation for destroying buildings. Rewards now depend on how prepared the item is, and they give less money and experience when shipping pallets to FOBs outside of the allowed area.
The team is particularly focused on the economy. Players who have been caught abusing the exploit or trading for real money will have their accumulated money and progress reset, and repeated violations may now result in a permanent ban without warning. Judging from the wording of the developers, the tolerant experimental period of the first season has officially ended.
A new deployment screen has appeared in the server browser with official, custom, infantry mode, and low-tier servers individually selected. We’ve returned advanced filters, improved queue and server name display, and added gamepad support. At the same time, some bugs and stability issues have been fixed. The developers are saving bigger changes for Season 2 – they promise new card conditions, equipment, balance reworks and additional features.
