IO Interactive has released the first major DLC for the hit action game. It includes the popular New Game+ mode, new TacSim content and photo mode.
IO Interactive today announced the first DLC pack for 007 First Light – but it gets better. The add-on content titled “Extended Operations” was not only presented, but immediately released on October 1, 2026, and is now available to owners of the main game.
Through DLC, the development team hopes to provide some of the most frequently requested features and content. The focus is primarily on the popular “New Game+” game mode, which is unlocked once you complete the campaign – regardless of difficulty. You can then replay the campaign from the beginning with New Game+ at each checkpoint, including all unlocked outfits and gadgets.
New Game+ also unlocks a new 00 difficulty mode, which is designed to significantly increase the difficulty and is aimed at players who love a challenge. Combat has become more difficult, stealth sequences have become less forgiving, enemies are more responsive, and some guards have been replaced by more powerful archetypes. Even the use of gadgets is sometimes limited, so you have to be precise when using them to survive.
Among the TacSim content, the DLC now includes the previously teased Valhalla Protocol content. So Aston Martin Valhalla also makes its way into the Slovak mountains. Valhalla Accords consists of four different missions where you must drive your Aston Martin day and night and overcome challenges.
James Bond also returns to the Pearl, where there’s a new TacSim mission in which you must steal secret documents. Also: There are new weapons in TacSim missions.
Other content included in the DLC pack includes a fully expanded photo mode that allows you to freeze any scene for the perfect snapshot, as well as gameplay improvements such as optimized weapon handling.
