The sequel will not be released this year. The makers have now quickly pushed back the release to 2027.
Following the success of Keena: The Bridge of Spirits, sequel Keena: The Scar of Cosmora was supposed to continue the success story this year, but now nothing has come of it. It has now been confirmed that the launch will be delayed until 2027.
Ember Lab wants to give the team more development time. One reason is that Scars of Cosmoora is supposed to be significantly larger than the original game that came before it. The additional development time is intended to further mature the gameplay experience and ensure the same level of quality as Bridge of Spirits.
The postponement announcement comes within the framework of An official entry PlayStation Blog. If you’re interested, you’ll find plenty of new details about the sequel’s story as well as new images.
Kena: Scars of Kosmora will be released on PS5 and PC in 2027. There is no more specific release time yet.
