Ember Lab has officially confirmed what many fans have secretly feared – the sequel to the action-packed action game Keena: Bridge of Souls will not be released as scheduled. The release of the sequel, subtitled Scars of Cosmora, has been delayed until 2027. The developers needed more time to refine the project’s expanded scope and bring the ambitious game mechanics to perfection. The game is still being prepared for PlayStation 5 and PC.
In addition to the news about the transfer, the author also revealed new details about the journey of maturing Kenna. The main setting is the mysterious island of Cosmora, mired in corruption. The heroine must master the ancient magic of elemental alchemy and explore dangerous temples reminiscent of classic complex dungeons full of puzzles and battles. The most interesting innovation will be the Crystal Quadruped Companion: this faithful beast will not only serve as a fast-moving mount, but will also actively aid Kenna in battle and uncover the mysteries of the island.
