Action-packed third-person shooter ARC Raiders will be temporarily free to play in conjunction with the release of a major update. From October 8th (12:00 Moscow time) to October 12th (11:00 Moscow time) everyone can play the full version. The promotion will run simultaneously on PC on Steam, PlayStation and Xbox Series X|S, and if you purchase the game, all accumulated progress will be saved.
On October 8, a Frozen update will be released, which the developer says is the biggest update since the game’s launch. It will add new snow maps, new enemies, new weapons and gadgets, camera features, and the first battle pass with paid and free rewards to the game, which will replace Raider Decks.
Later, from October 13th to 20th, a full-fledged PvE mode will be tested, in which participants will not be harmed by other players. The developer clarified that this format is experimental and may not appear in the game.
