Xbox has announced the list of games that will be leaving Game Pass. In mid-October, 9 projects will be removed from the shelves at once, and the list also includes several large-scale games, including last year’s flagship project – “Claire Obscure: Expedition 33”.
October 15th will be the last day for Game Pass for the following games:
- A Plague Tale: Requiem
- Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33
- crime scene cleaner
- donut county
- wicked west
- pacific avenue
- The casting of Frank Stone
- New Rome (PC)
- Superball (free game, Game Pass bonus)
In addition to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, notable games on the Game Pass list include A Plague Tale: Requiem, Pacific Drive, Wicked West, and Frank Stone Casting. They can both be classified as AA and AAA, and the impact of their loss to Game Pass seems to be huge.
Note that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 existed on Game Pass for about 1.5 years before being removed from the service. Last year, the program set a record for the number of annual game awards.
