Atlus has given fans of the Japanese role-playing game a new trailer for the remake of Persona 4: Resurgence, simply called Shadows. The new film is entirely dedicated to the dark side of human nature and the supernatural secrets of the foggy town of Inaba, where a series of mysterious kidnappings and brutal murders disrupt the peaceful life.
One rainy midnight, the turned-off TV screen began to play the silhouette of fate and the nightmare of another world. The main test for the investigating heroes is a meeting with the Shadows – grotesque monsters who embody repressed complexes, hidden fears and secret vices that a man desperately tries to deny. The trailer clearly showcases updated graphics on Unreal Engine 4, atmospheric cutscenes, and dramatic clashes with a key character’s dark alter ego, which reveal the true power of Persona.
Let us remind you that Persona 4 Resurrection will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (including Game Pass catalog) on February 18, 2027, and the game will also be released on Switch 2 on May 20.
