This past gaming week (September 26-October 3) was pretty normal for Game Pass subscriptions. Several games have been added to the service, several announcements have been made, and it’s also known that games will be removed. Here’s our pick of all the most interesting Game Pass news of the week.

New games on Game Pass this week

This week, the following games were added to the Game Pass service:

  • Minecraft Dungeons II (Xbox, PC) — Ultimate Edition, PC
  • Keeper (Xbox, PC) – Premium version, previously released in Ultimate and PC
  • Braveheart: Gone Home (Xbox, PC) — Ultimate Edition

The main subscription version this week can be considered Minecraft Dungeons II. The new project from Xbox Game Studios has received better reviews than the first installment, both from critics and players.

Game Pass new game announcements

Microsoft shared no information this week about Game Pass games for the first half of October. But it did make some announcements about the service:

  • Football Manager 27 – November 10, 2026
  • A game about digging holes together – no release date

Note that the first part of last year’s hugely popular Digging Game is now available for subscription. Football Manager has released each new installment on Game Pass immediately after its release for many years.

Game Pass release date

Several games announced for Game Pass a long time ago have received release dates:

  • Invalid/Broken – November 4, 2026
  • Grave Season – March 9, 2027

Please note that VOID/BREAKER is available in Game Pass on PC as part of the game preview. It will appear on consoles at the same time as the full version on November 4th.

Will be removed from Game Pass soon

The Xbox app has information about games that will be removed from Game Pass on October 15:

  • A Plague Tale: Requiem
  • Chiaroscuro: Expedition 33
  • crime scene cleaner
  • donut county
  • wicked west
  • pacific avenue
  • The casting of Frank Stone
  • New Rome (PC)
  • Superball (free game, Game Pass bonus)

The list includes several titles that have suffered significant losses in subscriptions, including last year’s main game, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It’s worth mentioning that this list has not been officially confirmed by Xbox Wire, which means it may be subject to adjustment.
