A new game based on the universe of the popular animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender is in development. The project does not yet have a trailer or an exact name, but it is already known that the release in early access will take place in 2025. The game is being developed by Maximum Entertainment in collaboration with Paramount Game Studio.
Maximum announced the new game while unveiling its 2024 lineup and promoting the unification of its publishing labels Maximum Games, Modus Games, Just For Games and Merge Games, as well as development arm Modus Studios, under the Maximum Entertainment banner.
There are currently 100 games in development for PC and consoles, with only 15 of them based on its own original IPs. In addition to releasing a project based on the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender, Maximum plans to focus on developing competitive fighting games, service games and action adventures.
“We are thrilled to share today’s news with you, including exciting new partnerships, as we enter a phase of true global integration. As one company with one portfolio, we are focused on the future and the opportunities it presents,” said Maximum Entertainment CEO Christina Seely.
