There are 4 Xbox exclusives destined to arrive on other consoles in the future. Phil Spencer announced this during the long-awaited podcast on the future of Microsoft’s gaming division, without however revealing the identity of the games in question.
Although Spencer preferred not to reveal the titles of the four first party Xbox releases on other platforms, thus postponing their official announcement to a later time, The Verge took care of giving them names. According to Tom Warren, who claims to have spoken to employees of the Redmond company, the four exclusives would be Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Sea of Thieves and Grounded. Certainly interesting names, as well as perfectly in line with the ideas offered by Xbox (which spoke of “hidden gems” and “live service” released for at least a year), however we would like to point out that the aforementioned list it cannot be considered official.
Not satisfied with the discussion point offered, Warren added that Microsoft would also consider names like Gears of War, Microsoft Flight Simulator and even the next DOOM. A final decision on these games has not yet been made, so there is a possibility that they could arrive on other consoles in the future. Warren is ready to bet on the four titles already confirmed others will follow as Xbox’s new strategy evolves.
However, no changes are expected for Game Pass, which will continue to remain confined to the platforms we already know and will receive the Xbox first parties on day one.
