Mini PC manufacturer AOOSTAR has introduced a new product – the GEM10 mini PC, equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS hybrid processors with OCULINK in a compact design. The mini PC market is becoming more saturated every day, and new compact and powerful solutions appear from time to time. The new GEM10 mini-PC from AOOSTAR, although the manufacturer’s name is rarely found in the mass segment, promises to be a powerful computer in a small form factor.
AOOSTAR GEM10 Mini PC includes AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, built on Zen architecture with a base frequency of 3.8 GHz and Boost frequency up to 5.1 GHz, as well as 16 MB L3 cache and TDP in the range of 35–54 W. The package also includes an iGPU Radeon 780M with 12 computing units operating at 2700 MHz.
According to the manufacturer’s internal tests, the GEM10 can support up to 75W in performance mode at temperatures up to 81°C and up to 65W in balanced mode at temperatures up to 75°C. There is also an energy-efficient mode with a power of 54 W and a maximum temperature of up to 65°C.
Cooling the tiny aluminum case is provided by the Glacier 2.5 system, which allows you to adjust three power modes through the BIOS (28 W/35 W/45 W). The cooling solution operates with a noise level of less than 40 dBA. The case dimensions are 10.7 x 10.7 x 6 cm and the volume is 0.6 L, making it one of the most compact mini PCs on the market.
Other specs include LPDDR5-6400 memory support (up to 64GB), 7500 MT/s overclocking via BIOS, three NVMe 4.0 x4 slots, two 2.5GbE Ethernet ports (Intel 226V), two HDMI 2.1 and one USB4 PD output . Wireless connectivity is provided via Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. There is also one OCuLink port for connecting a discrete graphics card or NVMe storage. There are also four USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, and power is supplied via a 19V (100W) DC jack.
The standard 32GB configuration without storage is available for $549, while the 1TB storage + 32GB RAM version costs $589.95. The AOOSTAR GEM10 looks like a very competitive offering in the mini PC segment and we look forward to seeing it in the market. Additionally, in addition to the standard black color, a white variant will also be available starting in early March.
