As part of the official Xbox podcast, the leadership of Microsoft’s gaming division shared its plans for the foreseeable future. In particular, the company plans to release four Xbox exclusives on competitor gaming consoles. The exact list has not yet been revealed, but there was no place on it for Starfield and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
According to The Verge’s sources, we are talking about the games Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Sea of Thieves and Grounded. They will soon become available to owners of Sony PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch consoles. In the future, this list will certainly be expanded. Even Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer himself says that over the next five to ten years, exclusive games will become a smaller and smaller part of the gaming industry.
In addition, Activision Blizzard games will soon be available on Xbox Game Pass. The first such project will be Diablo IV, which will be added to the game catalog on March 28. Currently, the Game Pass service is used by about 34 million people.
