Thus, fans around the world will be able to see him in Gladiator 2 by Ridley Scott or in the superhero film Fantastic Four alongside Vanessa Kirby (Mission Impossible: Fallout), Joseph Quinn (Eddie in Stranger Things) and Ebon Moss -Bachrach (Andor, The Bear).
In short, the Chilean-American actor seems to be destined for a bright future in Hollywood. No one questions his acting skills, although he has his own technique for memorizing the texts of his roles. In a recent interview, he revealed his cryptic way of learning his lines of dialogue, in front of actors surprised by this astonishing method.
Pedro Pascal reveals his secret to learning his texts
The acting profession is far from easy. In addition to having to put yourself in the shoes of a character by granting the right nuance of emotional intensity, you have to learn long texts. Training your memory is an essential exercise for this artistic profession, and everyone has their own technique to achieve it. It was during an online conversation before the Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony that the 48-year-old actor revealed his secrets in front of Billy Crudup (Watchmen: The Watchmen, Big Fish), Matthew Macfadyen (Pride and Prejudice, Succession) and Kieran Culkin (Scott Pilgrim). According to Pedro Pascal, applying this technique amounts to saying that he is in some way a psychopath, before explaining that he writes the first letter of each sentence in a column to learn his replies in order. A way of doing things that seems to suit him perfectly, despite the reactions of his fellow actors present in the virtual meeting.
