Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios introduce us to the DLC guest fighter Peacemaker in a new trailer Mortal Kombat 1 before. It will be playable through early access included in the Kombat Pack starting February 28th and available to everyone starting March 6th.
We read additional information in the press release:
Peacemaker, also known as Christopher Smith, desires peace with all his heart and is willing to kill anyone to get it. In the new video, Peacemaker challenges Liu Kang's new era of peace. He is equipped with a moveset that includes the character's weapon skills, his signature helmet skills, and his loyal, bald henchman Eagly. It is complemented by his legendary dance moves and cheeky humor.
The trailer also offers a first look at gameplay for Janet Cage, a new DLC cameo fighter and alternate depiction of Johnny Cage, who can use a wide range of assistive techniques during her fights. Janet Cage will be available in March 2024 as part of the Kombat Pack and as a standalone purchase.
Additionally, the Krossplay feature will be available starting February 28th for Mortal Kombat 1 available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). The Krossplay feature allows you to compete in 1v1 Battle League and Friendly matches, invite friends to private 1v1 matches and view ranking statistics across all supported platforms.
