NVIDIA: +56% growth in the Gaming sector
Is PC Gaming Dead? Apparently the economic data are of a completely different opinion, indeed it seems to have never been so prosperous thanks also to the medium-high range handheld devices that have become very popular in recent months. We are talking about Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go and the latest arrival MSI Claw.
In fact, NVIDIA recorded growth of +56% in the Gaming sector in the last quarter of 2023, compared to the same period of the previous year. This was thanks to revenues of $2.9 billion in the quarter. Overall, the data for the whole of 2023 was also very good, recording an increase in revenues of +15%, for a total of 10.4 billion dollars.
Thanks to this growth was the wide availability of mid-range RTX Series 40 video cards, launched mid-year. Added to this are the most competitive prices for the high end and the launch of the “SUPER” versions of the models already on the market. Plus NVIDIA has crossed the milestone of 500 games that support NVIDIA RTX AI features.
