The developers of the space role-playing game Starfield from Bethesda Game Studios continue to exceed the plan for the frequency of updates (every six weeks) – the next patch will come out less than a month after the previous one.
As it turned out, the next update for Starfield will be available to buyers of the game on Steam on March 6th. We are talking about beta testing of the patch, while a full release on all target platforms will take place later.
Additional features and content will be coming to Starfield throughout 2024, and in the upcoming update the developers are focusing on improving the gameplay experience and fixing bugs.
For example, in photo mode it will be possible to choose the facial expression of the character and his allies. The Vasco robot companion will also have several additional positions for posing in front of the camera.
With the release of the new patch, a scanner open in front of the main character’s face will not interfere with collecting resources or opening a door, and setting a course for an inactive mission will automatically make it active.
As for bug fixes, journalist David Barron will no longer disappear in the “Sabotage” mission, the hero’s head will no longer turn to the left during a sprint, and temples will begin to appear correctly in the required places.
Starfield is released on PC (Steam, Microsoft Store), Xbox Series X, S and Game Pass. By the end of 2024, the game will receive city maps, new ways to move, and support for mods. The Shattered Space add-on is also being prepared for release (possibly soon).
