Last June, InXile Entertainment, which is part of Microsoft Gaming, presented its new game, Clockwork Revolution, at the Xbox Games Showcase. The project was announced with a debut trailer, which many compared to Bioshock Infinite. Since the announcement of Clockwork Revolution, there has been almost no information about the game, but recently the developers showed an object from the game. Although it is not a fact that this game is Clockwork Revolution.
On its social networks, the InXile studio called February 29 “a day that does not exist,” noting that there are no laws on such a day. One of the players asked the developers on social networks that day to “show something from the new game that will be released.” Representatives of the InXile Entertainment studio said that on such a day the request is “fair”, and they published a “bread crust texture” from one of their new games.
The developers did not specify whether this texture is part of the Clockwork Revolution game or belongs to some other project that is currently in development.
Let's remember that the InXile studio is known for the Wasteland franchise, and Clockwork Revolution is their first such large-scale project, and this is the first new game that the studio has created since its purchase by Microsoft back in 2018. Clockwork Revolution will be a massive AAA RPG adventure, and it is being developed on Unreal Engine 5. There are not many details about the game, but what is known is that it will involve players traveling through time.
