March 3, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. – What does the mysterious pirate patch 10.2.6 bring to World of Warcraft? The developers probably want to shed some light on the matter soon. The test servers for Dragonflight Season 4 will also open soon.
The WoW developers are currently keeping quiet about the content of the next update 10.2.6. But that's about to change, because as community manager Kaivax confirmed in a blue post, the team is already concentrating intensively on the next patch and wants to officially reveal its content soon.
Mysterious pirate patch will be revealed soon
Specifically, Kaivax writes:
“For developers, the focus right now is primarily on upcoming content that has not yet been publicly revealed. That will change in the coming weeks as we reveal some things and reopen our public test servers and then move on to sharing details and feedback Connection [mit Patch 10.2.6] dedicate.”
Kaivax has not revealed exactly how long we have to wait for the official presentation of patch 10.2.6 and what exactly it will look like. However, we assume that fans won't have to wait too much longer. After all, the update is scheduled to be released in March 2024. The fourth Dragonflight season content will probably land on the PTR shortly afterwards.
Because the WoW developers want to keep the contents of patch 10.2.6 strictly secret in order to surprise players, there will be no test server for the update. On the official Dragonflight roadmap, patch 10.2.6 is only marked with a flag that shows a white skull on a black background, indicating a pirate theme. According to WoW Executive Producer Holly Longdale, the patch will include a “unique” event. Fans can be excited to see what awaits us soon in the world of Warcraft.
