Such threats will not appear on all planets.
A major update 01.000.100 has been released for the co-op shooter Helldivers 2. The update activated planetary threats: now paratroopers will have to deal not only with insects and robots, but also with other dangers.
Planetary threats are generated randomly and can range from meteor showers to fire tornadoes. It may also turn out that the planet on which the fighting is taking place will be deprived of these threats.
The developers also made a number of balancing changes; Here is a list of the main changes in patch 01.000.100.
Major changes in update 01.000.100 for Helldivers 2
Assassination missions will spawn enemies more frequently and require more kills. The time it takes to complete missions will approximately double. The duration of orbital bombardment with 120 mm and 380 mm calibers has been increased and the spread of orbital bombardment has been reduced. A bug has been fixed that caused armor to reduce damage less than required. The anti-aliasing setting now works on PlayStation 5. The flashlight now works better. Lighting on all planets has been rebalanced, there should no longer be too dark places. Fixed the problem with blurriness of some materials on low graphics settings. Fixed stretching of armor when dismembered. Paratroopers began to take damage from fire and other effects created by players.
