At the beginning of February, Apple launched its new product, the Apple Vision Pro mixed reality headset, which works as a VR and AR device. This is not the first such device on the market, but Apple has once again managed to present an advanced technical product with a stylish design, powerful hardware and a user-friendly interface.
Apple Vision Pro is quickly gaining popularity. We've all seen funny videos of people walking around the city, shopping centers and other places in Vision Pro. And this is the first device of this class that can become widespread. Although the cost of $3,499 is still the main barrier to the popularization of the gadget.
For now, the headset is officially sold only in the United States. But sales may start in other countries in the near future. According to unofficial information, an update is being prepared for the VisionOS operating system with support for new languages:
Traditional Chinese Chinese Simplified English (Australia) English (Canada) English (Japan) English (Singapore) English (UK) French (Canada) French (France) German (Germany) Japanese Korean
This hints at the imminent official launch of Apple Vision Pro in China, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, UK and South Korea. It is known that Apple has already sold 200 thousand of such devices as part of pre-orders. Some analysts predicted total sales of 500,000 to 800,000 units in 2024. With entry into new markets, these forecasts may be revised upward.
It is also known that main competitor Samsung is already working on its answer to the Vision Pro, planning to introduce a similar device by the end of the year.
