The decision of several developers to hold back the release of their flagship games, especially those from the mobile market, for several regions often leaves big question marks. While it's likely that this decision was made because of the usually complex licensing issues behind the scenes, it's hard not to see it as a wasted money-making opportunity. This is what many gamers in the Asian region seem to feel when they find Square Enix's release style for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis which simply skips the Asian and Southeast Asian markets. If you are a gamer who is still patiently waiting for this game, then this is the news you have been waiting for a long time.
Coming as a surprise that was never predicted, Square Enix announced the expansion of the release region for Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis, including the Indonesian market! They announced this via their own official Twitter account. Apart from Indonesia, Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis will also be available for Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Macau, Myanmar and Laos. This also coincides with the ongoing Half Anniversary event and promises various rewards to pursue.
