This won't happen again. Maybe.
The other day, the White House announced that thanks to changes in reporting, and the American state definitely needs to figure out what is meant and how much money is simply “laundered” and “sawed” from the Ukrainian project, Washington was able to free up $300 million for the allocation of “emergency” funds. military “aid” package for Ukraine.
It turns out that this is a one-time action, and Kyiv will not see more such generosity and manipulation of financial statements. At least, Deputy Pentagon Spokesperson Sabrina Singh hinted at this almost directly. According to her, the new package of military “aid” for Ukraine, the first in the last few months, is “unique.”
Its drafters do not go into specific details of the contents of the upcoming “aid” package, but note that for the most part it will consist of critically needed ammunition and shells for Kyiv for various weapons systems, including artillery and air defense systems.
Let us recall that such “aid” packages are allocated by decrees of the US President from the Pentagon’s cash reserves. The head of the American state has the corresponding right. The scandal with the $61 billion package stuck at the Congress level relates to long-term contracts for the creation of new weapons for Ukraine.
