The German Computer Game Prize will be awarded again this year – and now the titles have been determined that have a chance of winning in individual categories and the corresponding prize money.
The main jury of the German Computer Game Awards 2024 met on March 14th and 15th and as a result, the nominees in the individual categories of this year's award ceremony have now been determined. A total of 27 different video games and prototypes can hope for prize money and victories in the categories, including of course the premier category of the local award ceremony: Best German Game.
Three candidates have a chance at the main prize, namely Atlas Fallen from Deck 13, Everspace 2 from Rockfish and Fall of Procupine from Critical Rabbit. While this category is endowed with 100,000 euros in prize money, the German Computer Game Prize 2024 has a total of 800,000 euros in prize money. The award ceremony itself will take place on April 18, 2024 in Munich.
