Xbox Brooklyn console concept based on leaks
Microsoft may be preparing to release new Xbox game consoles in the near future. In February, Sarah Bond, president of Xbox, said that Microsoft was preparing future versions of the consoles, which they planned to present this year. It seems that developers have begun preparing for the release of new consoles on the market, as news appeared from South Korea today.
The National Radio Research Agency of Korea (the local regulator) has published registration information for the new Xbox Dev Kit (XDK) console on its website. Below you can see a translated version of the website page where the information is published (in Korean here).
Certification of devkits means that now game developers in South Korea can work with supplied devices of this type. In other words, this means that Microsoft intends to send new devkits to local developers, and they were required to undergo pre-certification from the regulator for them.
It is important to note that XDK of Xbox Series X gaming consoles | S National Radio Research Agency of Korea registered June 10-11, 2020, while the release of set-top boxes took place on November 10, 2020, that is, 5 months later.
