Players will only be able to play games through Luna that are in the service's library.
CD Projekt's GOG store has announced a partnership with Amazon Luna, a cloud gaming service. Through this partnership, GOG users will be able to play their games through Luna streaming.
You can only launch a game via Luna that is simultaneously available in both the GOG library and the cloud service library. GOG users will be able to run their games on any Luna-enabled device, such as smart TVs.
In addition, all controllers compatible with the Luna service can be used in games. Among them, for example, there are Xbox and PlayStation gamepads.
An interesting point: if a player links his GOG and Luna accounts and then purchases a game on the cloud service, it will also appear in the player’s GOG library – but only if such a project exists in the store. Games purchased through Luna will support achievements, cloud saves, and all other functionality.
Representatives from GOG and Luna did not say when it will be possible to launch store games through the cloud service.
