Last summer, developers from Ocean Drive Studio released the game Blackout Protocol on PC in early access. The project now has “Mostly Positive” reviews, of which there are about 300. Despite this, the developers intend to change the positioning of their project. According to them, the gaming community gave them this idea.
Blackout Protocol was originally released as a “twin-stick shooter” aimed at co-op. In the developers' original concept, single-player gameplay was considered a secondary option. According to the new concept that the developers will adhere to before launching the game, their project is “a single-player game where multiplayer experience is optional.”
The creators of Blackout Protocol are planning to release several major updates in the near future that will demonstrate players' commitment to the new concept. In addition, the developers plan to release their game on Xbox Series X | S and Playstation 5, when its full release will take place. It is planned for next winter, the exact date has not yet been announced.
