We interviewed Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and director Gil Kenan on the occasion of the release of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire in theaters.
¡Los Ghostbusters They are back! Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire opens in theaters today and courtesy of Sony Pictures we have been able to speak with its protagonists Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhardy Mckenna Grace and the director Gil Kenan.
We have discovered who their favorite ghosts in the film are, if they believe in paranormal experiences (pay attention to Rudd, who has left us with a lot of intrigue) and we have delved into the journey that their characters take in this film. Kenan has confirmed to us, for his part, his willingness to combine nostalgia with a new story that is linked to tragic ghost stories.
Catch me those ghosts
There are several turning points in the film: the unleashed power of an ancient and powerful entity called Screaming being released from an orb, the failure of the containment unit of the main headquarters of the Ghostbusters set in the New York fire station and the freezing cold that can cause instant death.
But, as always, we are faced with a family adventure in which each character has their own inner journey. As Paul Rudd highlights, his mission in the film will be to find his place to stop being the “colleague” and have a more mature role.
Something similar is going to happen to Trevor (Finn Wolfhard) and Phoebe (Mckenna Grace). The first has to face his own challenges by himself and Phoebe, heir to the talent of her grandfather Egon, is going to be separated from the group as she is a minor, which will lead her to chart a new path.
In both cases their narrative arcs in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire They are going to be related to ectoplasms: Trevor will face Moquete, who has been created using artisanal effects and CGI depending on the occasion, and Phoebe will meet Melody, a kindred spirit with whom she will share confidences.
Everything is ready to live a new adventure after Ghostbusters: Afterlife: who are you going to call? To the Ghostbusters, of course!
