If you are a newcomer and have not tried Dark Arisen, this ARPG could be a great start for you. Although that doesn't mean that everyone wants to know what is the best vocation for the character.
Only in a recent interview with GamesRadar+, Itsuno revealed that – in his humble opinion – there are two vocations that best suit those who They don't have that much experience in Dragon's Dogma or RPGs in general.
“If you are an FPS or third-person shooter player and you have a good aim, then Archers could be a good match because the better you know how to aim, the better you will do with that type of ranged character.

“Alternatively, if you've played melee combat titles where you roll to dodge enemy attacks before countering, then the Thief is a good fit for that type of player.”
PC Gamer recommends the Archer to play it safe, but going as a Thief doesn't sound bad. But one thing is for sure, the one Itsuno chose is not for everyone.
“It tends to change a lot because there's a lot of variety in the game from place to place, but right now my main build is for my three pawns to be sorcerers and for the Ascended to be Knight.
This is what allows you to acquire various skills through all the different vocations,” says the director himself.
