Unique is the right word to describe what the last two games created by Hazelight Studios under the brain of Josef Fares have managed to achieve. Centered on a cooperative experience that must be played by two people, both A Way Out and It Takes Two must be admitted to come with a strategy full of risks. Moreover, Hazelight and their publisher – EA allow gamers to buy just one copy and invite other gamers to play for free. Fortunately, through the quality of the gameplay and story, both managed to achieve their own success. Moreover, It Takes Two, apart from winning the Game of the Year award, has now reached another sales milestone that is worth celebrating.
Hazelight Studios is proud to announce that It Takes Two has sold over 16 million copies across platforms! This means that approximately 30 million gamers have tasted the fairy tale-like experience presented by Fares. They managed to achieve this figure in conjunction with the celebration of the third anniversary of this game's existence. Apart from an artwork to celebrate, Hazelight doesn't share much more detailed data about this game's performance, such as sales data for the last quarter or on which platform it ended up being the best-selling.
Today is not only the three year anniversary for #ItTakesTwo…
