Recently, firmware update number 10.0.26100.9426 (xb_flt_2608ge.260805-2200) was released for players who own Xbox Series X consoles | S and Xbox One. With it, new features arrive on the console, which we discussed in more detail here. Microsoft has now released the complete notes Patch, which also clarifies the fixed issues.
With the August update for the Xbox console, a long-standing bug in the software that caused some of the My Games & Apps to crash should be fixed. When players scroll through pages containing games in previous sections, players will sometimes spontaneously close the page and be taken to the home screen. This often happens when scrolling through a large number of games in the Game Pass section of My Games & Apps, especially when there is almost no free space on the console. This shouldn’t happen now.
In the description, Microsoft also pointed out more issues fixed by this version of the firmware:
- Fixed an issue where Chinese characters could appear on the on-screen keyboard in the Canadian French localization.
- Various improvements have been made to improve stability and performance.
