The idea of placing electric car charging stations in the courtyards of residential buildings has been around for a long time, from the moment electric cars became popular in Russia, and although the statistics are insignificant, it is still common. The reason is simple: you want to park in the courtyard, not in the paid parking lot 300 meters from the entrance. Now in Moscow, the idea is slowly starting to be implemented.

Today, the press service of Rosatom, a state company directly involved in the construction of charging stations, report Moscow has launched a project to install corresponding stations on the walls of buildings serving hot spots. There is a point like this in almost every yard, and this “unused” space can obviously be used to benefit everyone.
The project is implemented on the initiative of Moitok LLC and with the assistance of Parus Electro LLC, a subsidiary of Rosatom: the company will provide 15 kilowatt charging stations in both ports. Additionally, when two EVs are connected, the power is split in half between them, and generally speaking, even a fully depleted traction battery from a regular EV/hybrid should be enough to charge overnight.
