Farming Simulator 25 is getting an unusual addition called Beans and Alpacas, and coffee isn’t the only new feature. The developers finally confirmed the emergence of bananas, for which they created a separate system for growing, harvesting and processing the crop.
On the new Katui map, bananas can be grown year-round, and players must design their own plantations. Rows can be placed manually or the boundaries of the field can be set, after which the game automatically calculates the planting direction, number of tracks, area and cost. During harvest, bananas are cut with machetes and hung on special rails along which they are sent for cleaning. Work can also be delegated to hired workers.

You must monitor the plants: diseased trees need to be treated with fungicides using a tractor and special sprayers. After harvesting, the banana trees are not destroyed but pruned and regrow in the next cycle. The harvested fruit can be sold or processed into banana milk, potato chips, jam, pies and other products.
The Beans and Alpacas expansion will take players to a new farming region in South America and add new crops, animals, production chains and more than two dozen machines. PC and console versions are expected to be released on October 27th.
