Focus Entertainment and Asobo Studio have released a new story trailer for the action-adventure film Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy. The video shows off Venice and Minotaur Island, as well as several gameplay footage.
The events will unfold after a failed heist in Venice. Sofia, the daughter of a deceased gang leader, is forced to flee with her partner Leni to Minotaur Island, where she must learn the secrets of an ancient civilization. On the island, the heroine will encounter the ruins of a long-lost civilization, legends, and unknown forces hunting the heroine. The story will also explore Sophia’s past and Markkula’s origins.
Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy will release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on August 27, 2026, and will also appear on PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on launch day.
