The developer of Once Human admits that Summer Echoes’ furniture set didn’t live up to players’ expectations. The main reason for dissatisfaction was the Golden Shore Pool – a beautiful pool, but swimming in it proved impossible.
After the recent release of the kit, the developers received many complaints and listed issues. The Gold Coast swimming pool uses a special kind of water that is used to decorate the furniture, so it is impossible to swim in it completely. Although the author added the function of lying on the swimming ring, it is not enough. Additionally, when the system load is high, water may disappear or appear incorrectly, and object placement and detail itself may not be as good as expected.
The team apologized to players and offered Echoes of Summer owners the option of a refund or compensation. To receive a refund, you must submit a request through the Once Human feedback platform and indicate that you are requesting a Summer Echoes refund. Must be completed by August 19th. After checking the purchase, the money is returned and compensation is promised before August 21st. The developer additionally clarified that the account requested must match the account used to purchase the kit.
