Animation studio Pixar has revealed the first footage from its animated film “The Incredibles 3,” which is scheduled to hit the big screen on June 16, 2028.
Screenwriter Brad Bird confirmed that there will be no time jump in the plot, so the children’s ages will remain the same. In the story, adult Violet, Dash, and young Jack will begin sneaking out of their homes at night to fight crime in the city and hide from their parents.
The director of the film was taken over by Peter Sohn, who replaced Brad Bird, who is currently working on the “Ray Gunn” project. Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner and Samuel L. Jackson will return to voice these characters.
The previous installment in the series was released in 2018 and remained Pixar’s highest-grossing film until Inside Out 2.
