Netmarble has released the first trailer for a collectible anime RPG called Pearl in Blue. Development of the new products is being handled by subsidiary Netmarble N2 Studios, known for games such as RF Online Next and Tower of God: New World. A release date and exact platform list have yet to be confirmed.
“Blue Pearl” combines 3D action, light comedy and the story of a female knight protecting the world. The plot will center on the female knight, who will play both the heroine and the influencer. Together with the protagonist, they go through various tests and gradually get closer to saving the world.
The setting is based on the concept of “pearls”. Everyone has a special strength from birth, which is developed through experiencing difficulties and trials. People who use this power to save others are called knights. The protagonist herself serves as the center of the story and promises to support the girls on their path.
Blue Pearl will make its public debut at the 2026 Tokyo Game Show, which will be held at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo from September 17th to 21st. Visitors will have access to playable demos, themed booths incorporating game world elements, and a variety of activities.
