Better late than never: Three years after its release, Lords of the Fallen has an official Russian translation

Although nearly three years have passed since CI Games and Hexworks launched fantasy role-playing action Lords of the Fallen, the game is still improving. The latest update brings good news for Russian-speaking gamers.

Let us remind you that Lords of the Fallen will be launched in October 2023 and supports 12 languages, but Russian is not among them. Considering that the game has not yet been launched in the Russian region, there is little hope for localization.

As we all know, with the release a few days ago Patch 2.5.593 Lords of the Fallen finally has an official translation in Russian (text only). This change is relevant to both PC and consoles.

In addition to expanding the localization list, in 2.5.593, Lords of the Fallen developers, by popular demand, have removed the need to complete certain quests to unlock boss weapon special attacks.

Other changes related to boss weapon special attacks:

• Once a character meets the requirements to use a weapon, special attacks are now available;
• Missions that previously unlocked boss weapon special attacks can now obtain upgrade materials;
• New training materials specifically focus on the use of Boss weapons and their special attacks;
• The developers have adjusted the balance of boss weapon special attacks, especially at lower levels.

Lords of the Fallen is out on PC (steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S. Even after several years of patches, the project still has “mixed reviews” on Steam (a score of 68%). Last spring game sales Exceed 2.5 million copies.

Meanwhile, a sequel is in development. Due to a delay in June, Lords of the Fallen 2 is currently expected to release on PC in Season 1 of 2027 (steam, EGS), PS5, Xbox Series X and S.
