Development studio Bit Reactor has released the latest video material on the eve of the launch of the turn-based tactics game “Star Wars Zero Company”. A new gameplay trailer highlights the game’s core mechanics and showcases the variety of combat in the Clone Wars era. As Commander Hawkes, players lead a diverse team of mercenaries in tactical operations, with every decision on the battlefield affecting the outcome of the mission. The material presented makes it clear that the game relies on a combination of strategic depth and accessible elegance.
The trailer focuses on the turn-based building simulation and combat process. Each character has three action points available each turn to move, attack, or use special abilities. The so-called advantage system plays a central role. Through clever positioning and tactical skills, players can build a versatile bar that can ultimately be used for devastating ultimate attacks. Since the credit is shared among the entire team, accurate timing of your bet is crucial to victory.
In addition to the right tactics on the field, team composition and preparation play an equally important role. Mercenary groups are made up of a variety of character types, from bounty hunters to astromech droids to Force users. By working together, team members can develop synergy and unleash powerful combo attacks. In addition, the game offers extensive visual and equipment adjustments to adapt a unit’s capabilities to your own playstyle.
Outside of combat, bases of operations serve as central hubs. Here, players manage their resources, talk to force members and unlock new upgrades to prepare for upcoming missions. The tactical adventure game “Star Wars Zero Company” will be officially released on August 27, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
