To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Xbox brand, Microsoft teams are partnering with several popular brands. Earlier this year, we launched a joint promotion with Fanta, which gives us access to exclusive rewards. Now a partnership with McDonald’s has been announced.
Xbox and McDonald’s in the UK and Ireland will be offering bonuses to players who participate in various Microsoft projects to celebrate the gaming brand’s 25th anniversary. This operation is called a side mission.
McDonald’s menu will feature items inspired by Xbox games as well as digital rewards. Currently, all details are not available, but the list of games that are known to offer various bonuses is:
- Halo: Campaign Evolved – Master Chief Armor.
- Forza Horizon 6 – Car Coupons.
- Fallout 76 – Sugar Bomb Bundle.
- Candy Crush Saga – Booster Pack.
- World of Warcraft – Red Hot Portable Bakery.
- “Donut Break” – Emotional Kiriko Donut Break.
A specific start date for the promotion has not yet been announced. McDonald’s promises to provide more details via its app later this year.
