CD PROJEKT RED has officially announced its presence at Gamescom 2026, where it will reveal new details about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Songs of the Past story supplement as part of a live opening night ceremony hosted by Geoff Keeley.
The new expansion will allow players to reprise their role as legendary wizard Geralt of Rivia, adding a new chapter to the cult game that sold over 65 million copies in 2015 and received over 1,000 prestigious awards. Songs of the Past is scheduled to be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles in 2027.
In addition to the demonstrations at the trade fair, visitors to the Cologne Messe in Germany can evaluate the project for themselves at the studio’s booth: Shows in the business area (Hall 4.2, stand B065) will take place from August 26 to 28, and in the entertainment area (stand 8.18026, stand B065).
