The Elder Scrolls Online test server update 51 adds new solo dungeons for Season 2, as well as updates to previous content such as the rumor system and last week’s Nowhere Vault. This week’s update also gives European players the chance to copy their characters and transfer them to the PTS.
Players with PTS access can now try March of the Sacrifice and Moonhunter Fortress. These two separate dungeons will appear in October, giving those without a permanent group more options for completing the game’s content.
Both dungeons can be played at the player’s own pace and can be completed with or without NPC companions. Difficulty selection is accomplished by adding “adversity” to the challenge, which provides an additional option to make the challenge more difficult, but also more interesting in terms of loot.
No “misfortune” means a difficulty comparable to normal open world difficulty. Adding a misfortune increases the difficulty of the normal solo arena. Two is equivalent to one veteran single-player arena, and three is, according to the developer, “more challenging than any similar single-player experience.”
