This week, the Xbox team has already announced a partnership with McDonald’s, and now a teaser for a partnership with IKEA has emerged. A popular furniture and homewares store released a short video on its social networks. It features two items inspired by the Xbox controller. The first resembles an analog stick, while the second is a green pad shaped like a D-pad.
There’s no information yet on how big the joint Xbox and IKEA collection will be. In addition to decorative items, furniture and accessories may also be displayed. A full collaboration announcement is expected to be ready at Gamescom next week.
Let us remind you that this November the Xbox brand will celebrate its 25th anniversary. Microsoft is partnering with a number of notable companies to celebrate the occasion. They already partnered with Fanta earlier this year, and a partnership with McDonald’s will soon follow, and as part of both promotions, players can receive exclusive cosmetics within the Xbox program.
