The Xbox team plans to release multiple games this fall, the most important of which are Gears of War: E-Day and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Analysts at Alinea Analytics said Gears of War’s pre-orders briefly surpassed Call of Duty’s results on Steam, with the latter being positively impacted by past beta testing.
Last week, everyone was able to try Gears of War: E-Day on Xbox Series X | S and PC. This phase follows a closed beta and can only be played by those who have pre-ordered and Game Pass subscribers. At this point, the total number of pre-orders for The Coalition’s new shooting game has exceeded 90,000. Pre-orders for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 have been steadily increasing, and they started to increase significantly after the release of the story trailer.
Let us remind you that this week, August 21st, the beta test of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 begins, but only for pre-order buyers. Fully open testing is scheduled to run from August 28 to September 1. This time, Activision is preparing to deliver a record amount of content as part of the test, including story campaign missions.
