Underwater survival game “Deep 2” has sold more than 5 million copies, even though the game is still in early access. The developers released a massive update 1.2, focusing on developing cooperative modes and improving player comfort.
The patch’s main innovation is spatial voice chat, which automatically switches to radio communication when players separate and fade out at a distance. The game also adds a system for reviving party members using a timer, direct exchange of items in the inventory, new characters, and costume customization.
In addition, the author redesigned the interface and the scaling of icons on the screen, and creative director Anthony Gallegos also previewed the upcoming major update 2.0, in which players will discover new vehicles, unexplored biomes, and encounters with Leviathan collectors.
